Home Groups

We have a number of home groups that meet in the mornings, afternoons and evenings on Wednesdays for Bible study (based on the Bible passage preached on Sunday mornings), prayer, support and fellowship.

Followers (School Years 1-3)

We meet Wednesdays at 6.00pm during school term time. The children at this meeting learn how to enjoy being taught bible stories and songs that will help them to grow as Christians in later life. They have lots of fun doing this as well as playing games and interacting.

Adventurers (School Years 4-6)

We meet every Tuesday at 6:15pm during school term time. The activities include craft, games, cooking and bible study. This group is the platform for developing young people, who will be at an early stage of learning about Jesus and the Gospel message about salvation.

Christars (School Years 7-9)

We meet every Monday at 7:00pm during school term time. There are a variety of activities including games, quizzes and bible studies. We also enjoy trips out and hope to make Christars exciting as well as helping these young people to get to know the Lord Jesus.

Mums & Toddlers

Mums & Toddlers meet every week on Wednesdays during school term time at 10.00am for an hour and a half. We have enjoyed providing this service to our community for the last 10 years and we operate on a free of charge basis. As a result we have been able to show God’s love to all that come, by providing a friendly welcoming atmosphere.

The Samson Group (Special Needs Ministry)

We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month from 4.30-6.00pm. This ministry, to those having special needs, is now in its third year. In each meeting we highlight one aspect of God’s wonderful provision in a short talk and have a wonderful time in worship, prayer and fellowship.

Doulos

The Doulos ministry was established last year to provide an opportunity for the younger men of our church to grow more deeply in the Lord Jesus and His Word. This ministry is led by the pastor and we meet once a month on a Sunday afternoon. We divide our time between a study of theology and working through the biblical disciplines and joys of godly living.

Family Crafternoon

Family Crafternoon is a free afternoon of a variety of craft and creative activities for all the family. It will be run one Saturday a month (usually the 4th with the exception of December when it will be earlier) from 2 – 4pm during the colder months (September-April). Activities include food, needlework, paper craft and woodwork but please be aware some activities may be messy. Aprons will be provided. Tea and coffee will also be provided. Please bring your family along and join in the fun.
